Mission

It is the mission of the greater newark charter school (the "charter school") to be the best middle school in newark, new jersey. The charter school provides a full range of services appropriate to meeting the needs of all students in grades five through eight. The defining attributes of the charter school are its emphasis on a rigorous, college preparatory programs, good mental health, and character education.
